We’re thrilled to announce that Student Switch Off has been awarded the prestigious GoAbroad award for Innovation in Sustainability.
The annual GoAbroad innovation awards celebrate the best innovation in international education, and our partnership with the Foundation for International Education has been recognised as a truly impactful energy saving initiative.
FiE is the first non-university institution into which we’ve taken our energy saving campaign. The campaign has helped FiE save an absolutely astonishing 20% of energy in its first year. This saved 6 tonnes of carbon emissions, thanks to the collective efforts of over 300 students.
Delivering huge energy savings across the education sector, Student Switch Off helps students to form environmentally friendly habits which last a lifetime. We’re really proud to have the success of our campaign recognised by the GoAbroad award for Innovation in Sustainability.
